Information we collect

If you use the enquiry form, we receive the name, contact details and vehicle or enquiry information you choose to provide. The website also processes the technical information needed to deliver pages and protect the form from misuse. Please do not include payment-card details or information that is not needed for your enquiry.

How and why we use it

We handle personal information under the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR), the Data Protection Act 2018 and applicable UK data-protection law. We use enquiry information to respond to you and take steps you ask us to take before a possible booking; if work is agreed, we use relevant information to fulfil our contract and meet legal or accounting obligations. We also have a legitimate interest in protecting the website and form from misuse. We do not sell personal information or use enquiry details for unrelated marketing.

Enquiry email and service providers

Where online email delivery is enabled, form details are sent to the garage using Resend, an email delivery provider. If delivery is unavailable, the site offers a draft email link instead; choosing it opens your email application, and you decide whether to send the message. Website hosting providers may process technical request information to provide and secure the service.

Sharing and international transfers

We share information only with service providers who help operate the website or deliver a requested service, and where disclosure is required by law. A provider may process data outside the UK. If a restricted international transfer takes place, we will put any safeguards required by UK data-protection law in place.

How long we keep information

We keep enquiries only as long as needed to respond and manage any resulting work or legal obligations. Enquiries that do not result in work are ordinarily deleted within 24 months of the last contact, unless we need to retain them to resolve a dispute or meet a legal requirement.
